Constructing the tender is a multifaceted endeavour, blending functionality with practicality. Beginning with steel the tender's frame is fabricated, reinforced & then riveted to withstand the rigours of the road. Compartments are carefully designed to store coal in bunkers and water under the footplate, ensuring ample supply for the locomotive's journey. The tender's top surface doubles as a spacious footplate, providing a stable platform for the operator.
